Why I Love Going To The Delray Beach International Tennis Championships
The Delray Beach International Tennis Championships is part of the ATP World Tour and I love going to watch the pros play in Delray Beach City. When I was young, I played competitively in a Tennis Club in Paris until my back told me this was no longer the sport for me. There is still so much pleasure in watching, and photographing, the tennis pros when they come to the city of Delray Beach Florida. If you enjoy tennis, don’t miss the chance to see it live and in person so plan a trip for February.
Great Location: Located at the Delray Beach Stadium And Tennis Center on West Atlantic Ave between the I95 and the ocean, this could not be more centrally located. The Delray Beach International Tennis Championships are easy to get to making it perfect for your vacation plans.
Stadium Seat Selection: Excellent choices for viewing the tennis matches no matter what level of fan you are. There are even 12 seats available right on the Stadium Court for the ultimate viewing experience. Or if shade is what you need there is the Veranda seating. A full range of choices await you, including Box Seats and Grandstand.
Delray Beach International Championships is an ATP World Tour 250 series men’s tournament for singles and doubles. Although it is the lowest tier of the events on the world tour (worth 250 points to the winner, thus the name) the competition is fierce as these competitors try to work their way up the tennis rankings ladder. That’s not all there is though, there’s also the ATP Champions tour going on at the same time. The 2013 final in Delray Beach Florida featured Carlos Moya defeating John McEnroe. From the up-and-coming tennis stars of the future, to the thrill of seeing the Champions Tour, this 10-day event is a must-see for all tennis fans and players.
Over 20 Years In Delray Beach City: 2014 will see the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships turning 22 years old in this venue. As well as the professional tennis, there are special events, music, food and more. In both 2012 and 2013 the event featured Legends Clinics, which have included the likes of McEnroe and Moya. Ladies luncheons, VIP Clubhouse Lounge, music, and so much more fill these 10-days of tennis fun.
